DGISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited the military fronts along the Line of Control.
The DGISPR said in its Twitter message that the Chief of Army Staff had been briefed on the border situation. India is deliberately targeting civilians and we respond to it, the Chief of Army Staff said on the occasion.
He said that Kashmiris in Azad Jammu and Kashmir are constantly facing Indian atrocities with bravery in the siege. We will never leave them alone and we will play our part in whatever price we have to pay.
UN on Kashmir Issue
It is to be noted that today many UN Working Groups and Special Representatives have urged India to guarantee Kashmiris freedom of speech and fairness of their cases before an independent and impartial tribunal in accordance with Articles 9 and 10 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Take the necessary steps to ensure compliance.
