Make a Settlement with IMF, Says Zaidi

The order is prepared for the anti-property operations, tax negotiations with the IMF team are underway, they will be satisfied with the tax issue. Chairman FBR Syed Shabar Zaidi talks

The IMF will be satisfied with tax taxes, prepare an order for the action against the unnamed property, and tax negotiations with the IMF team are on, said The CHAIRMAN FBR Syed Shabar Zaidi. "The order has been prepared for the operation against the unnamed property," he told private TV.

The law is not making any major changes to the existing law against property, which will speed up the proceedings by making a few changes to the law. "Negotiations are on with the IMF team," Said Shabar Zaidi said. The IMF will be satisfied with tax revenues. Clearly FBR has set a target of Rs 12.95 billion for the second quarter.

FBR suffered a $100 billion tax shortcut in the first quarter. During the second quarter alone, Taxes of Rs 376 billion will be collected in October alone. The July-September tax collection is planned to be around Rs 960 billion and October to December 12, 95 billion rupees. On the other hand, the IMF's technical mission has begun negotiations to review Pakistan's declining tax system.

The negotiations that began last day will discuss the tax system review, which failed to show a willingness to pay the tax rate despite a 734 billion-plus tax-free tax cut this year.

The IMF mission will specifically consider the exemption from income tax and sales tax to taxpayers.

Sources said the massive tax exemption is also on the radar of the Prime Minister's Data Inquiry Commission. According to the Federal Board of Revenue officials, the IM mission in its first meeting with FBR discussed the issues of sales and corporate income tax in detail.
