Turkish-backed fighters attack US convoy

Damascus: Turkish-backed militants have attacked a US military convoy in northern Syria. Four Turkish nationals were killed in a bomb blast in the village of Umm Al-Asafeer.

The RUSSIAN military said the US informed Russia that Turkish-backed militants attacked a US military convoy near Tel Tamar, according to a foreign news agency.

Syrian sources report that the Turkish bombing killed four civilians in the village of Um-al-Asafeer, a village in Ras al-Ain.

It should be noted that US Secretary of State Stephen Manuchan warned Turkey last week that the Trump administration would, if necessary, impose sanctions against Turkey that the US administration has reserved.

So far, he said, he is satisfied with the ceasefire in Syria. So this satisfaction has helped to end the previous restrictions.

It is believed that under the agreement between the US and Turkey, Turkey gave the Kurds five days (120 hours) to clear the border.
